Thanks for your interest in writing for Ultimate Encounters, the online and print destination for lovers of travel off the beaten path. Travel writers are welcome.

Ultimate Encounters is your one-stop-shop for experiential travel content. We cover train travel, expedition cruising, safaris, walking holidays, community tourism, emerging destinations, wellness, and travel essentials. We also cover the unique properties that offer access to the world’s farthest-flung corners, and the experiences on offer once travellers get there.

For travel writers, Ultimate Encounters also offers a unique opportunity to engage with companies specializing in some of the world’s most unique travel experiences, from luxury train journeys to Arctic cruise expeditions. We are happy to supply commission letters to help our contributors gain access to these travel encounters so that in turn our readers can be exposed to the greatest cross-section of relevant travel experiences.

Guidelines

Expectation: We are looking for well-written, organized, and unbiased content free from grammatical and factual errors.

Content. We are looking for well-written, creative, informative, and entertaining content that targets the luxury travel market. Our readers are well-informed, brand-savvy, established travellers looking for truly unique experiences. Please look closely at your existing content for style guides.

Word Count: Stories for the web should be between 500 – 1200 words. Print content is by commission only.

Language. Ultimate Encounters is published in English and we use British English spelling.
