In addition to its good looks, the new RAF100 luggage collection celebrates an important milestone in one of Britain’s most historic institutions.
There’s nothing better than that new luggage smell – it just screams “go somewhere, anywhere, do it now!” It doesn’t hurt when the suitcase in question also marks an important milestone in the history of an esteemed institution like Britain’s Royal Air Force.
The new RAF 100 luggage line from Globe-Trotter ticks both boxes. Created to celebrate the 100-year history of the Royal Air Force, the cases in the new collection feature large interiors that make packing a breeze, as well as a vintage-esque exterior strap that keeps the case tight and secure.
Available as a 14-inch utility case, a 20-inch trolley case with telescoping wooden handle, or as a slim attaché case, the line features sturdy aluminum construction, replacing the classic vulcanized fibreboard shell, as well as metal rivets which give the suitcases an aeronautical look.
Perfect for weekend escapes, the trolley case features a 45-litre capacity and opens lengthwise to allow access when standing. With two internal webbing straps, newly-designed corner wheels, and a TSA-approved lock, this slick travel sidekick also boasts the iconic RAF heraldic insignia.
