The North Face Celebrates CNY

The North Face celebrates the Year of the Dragon with new twists on some of the brand’s iconic pieces, including down jackets, shell jackets and snow jackets.

The limited collection introduces vibrant colour motifs and energetic designs for a festive style, equipping explorers for new challenges with an exciting new look.

The North Face’s new festive collection starts the new year with a new colour palette. The 92 Ripstop Nuptse Jacket comes in tangerine orange, symbolising warmth and hope, and bringing a unique and lively colour for the Lunar New Year. Made with 700-fill RDS-certified goose down and WindWall  technology, the jacket comes with double wind protection and can withstand the cold, while the outer layer adopts Ripstop material to enhance durability.

Paired with the Denali Ripstop Pants that come in a loose and simple design, it showcases a carefree style, effortlessly ready for any occasion.

The Ripstop Mountain Light Jacket is equipped with lightweight Futurelight technology for breathability and waterproofness while keeping the wearer comfortable during their adventures. The jacket is made with recycled nylon for optimal durability and also features double-layered windproof panels and an adjustable hood and sleeves, providing maximum warmth and windproof abilities.

To complete the look, pair the jacket with the cargo pants that adopt FlashDry technology, allowing explorers to stay dry when facing the ever-changing outdoor landscape.

The Box Logo DK Crew is embossed with silhouettes of dragons and fireworks, complementing the brand’s logo. It adds a finishing touch to the dynamic design and accentuates the festive New Year spirit.

The North Face’s new skiing Freeride Collection adds a burst of energy to the mid-winter snow by incorporating a vibrant print into its tangerine orange gear, allowing explorers to shine amongst the snow and forests. The Build Up Jacket is designed with a laminated DryVent 2L shell that has undergone DWR water-repellent treatment.

This technology brings excellent waterproof and wind protection while being breathable, providing you with the best skiing experience. The jacket also features an adjustable hood for tailored head protection, as well as a stretch powder skirt on the inner layer for a more articulated fit and protection against snowstorms. It can be paired with the Build Up Pants for explorers to showcase their impeccable style and unleash their exploratory spirit in the snow.

The North Face Year of the Dragon collection also introduces accessories that help elevate any look, including footwear, beanies and basecamps. The M Ultra 112 WP features a durable ripstop and spacer mesh, as well as a waterproof DryVent membrane, allowing explorers to conquer damp environments such as rainforests and snow with ease.

For the outsole, the shoes feature Surface CTRL rubber, as well as a 5mm lug with multilayered pads for excellent durability and grip, protecting explorers in the wild. The Logo Box Cuffed Beanie is made with soft yarn knit fabric, providing warmth and comfort.

All the bags from the latest collection adopt basecamp ripstop material with waterproof protection, enhancing their durability. They also feature ample storage space and thoughtful design details, accommodating explorers’ storage needs.
