Heliskiing Russia’s Far East by Superyacht

Offering a bold new dimension to heliskiing in remote destinations, expedition yacht La Datcha is set to launch its exciting 2021 season.

Combining the comforts of a superyacht with the long-range endurance of an ice-breaker, the 252ft (77-meter) yacht was co-designed by London-based Russian billionaire and avid adventurer Oleg Tinkov and opens up new and remote destinations for avid heliskiers.

Part of Dutch shipbuilder Damen Yachting’s SeXplorer series, the six-deck yacht will take travellers off the charts, offering access to ski terrain in the Kamchatka Peninsula, The Kuril Islands, Chukotka, Alaska, the Arctic and Antarctica.

Available for private charter with heliski specialists Elemental Adventures, La Datcha is compliant with the International Maritime Organisation’s Polar Code, and houses two on-board helicopters in a below-deck hangar, as well as a host of onboard toys, including a three-person expedition submersible, two waverunners and two snowscooters.
