The voyage continues onto one of Europe’s most glamorous capitals, Berlin. Rising like a phoenix from the flames of resistance, Berlin’s cityscape is now a cornucopia of artisanal hotspots, resplendent Renaissance structures, and bustling bohemia. Step back to the “City of Shadows” and gain a vivid insight into the years of division, destruction, and determination which forged the brilliant Berlin we recognise today. Highlights include a visit to the East Side Gallery Berlin Wall memorial, the notorious Checkpoint Charlie, and the incredible opportunity to drive your own authentic East German vehicle (the VEB Trabant).
