Cruise line Swan Hellenic presents Legacy of Wine: The Atlantic Voyage, a new itinerary that explores Portugal, Spain, and France’s stunning Atlantic coast.
The cruise, which departs Lisbon for Portsmouth in May, is in partnership with Champagne Castelnau, and will offer a strong focus on wine and Old World wine culture. During this exclusive cruise, guests will enjoy cultural highlights, including the Gothic Jerónimos Monastery in Lisbon, the medieval streets of Saint-Malo, and Bilbao’s iconic Guggenheim Museum.
Along the way, activities will range from guided hikes along Brittany’s dramatic Cape Fréhel cliffs to sampling oysters on the Emerald Coast and exploring Mont Saint-Michel.
During the nine-night voyage on SH Diana, wine enthusiasts will also join Master of Wine Keith Isaac on a journey through Old World wine culture. The voyage includes guided vineyard tours, expertly curated tastings, and food pairings that highlight the rich traditions and history of winemaking in Portugal, Spain, and France and celebrate the Old World wine culture.
Price includes pre-cruise accommodation, an Oceanview stateroom, all meals onboard plus most drinks, 24-hour room service, self-service laundry, lecture programs by experienced expedition team and guest speakers, one selected shore excursion per port of call, standard Wi-Fi, and onboard gratuities and port taxes.
