Star Clippers will introduce multiple new Mediterranean ports of call for its Summer 2026 sailing schedule.
The specialist cruise line has announced seven brand new ports of call for their summer 2026 schedule, including Ouranoupolis in Greece and Barletta, Monopoli, Crotone and Pesaro in Italy.
Star Flyer will visit Ouranoupolis, a small city in the Halkidiki region, following a day of sailing along the Athos peninsular and viewing the monasteries as a part of a seven-night Greek Islands sailing in June 2026.
In addition, Pesaro will be a tender port, allowing multiple excursion opportunities, including day trips to the Republic of San Marino – one of the smallest countries in the world – and the UNESCO-recognised town of Urbino. There are currently no other cruise ships scheduled to visit Ouranoupolis or Pesaro in the summer of 2026.
Other new ports for the three tall ships include Šibenik (Croatia), Gythio (Greece) and Crotone (Italy). Puglia’s Monopoli and Barletta are further new ports of call for the specialist cruise line.
Racing fans should also take note: Royal Clipper will return to hosting Grand Prix sailings in 2026 with two round-trip Nice itineraries—the 16 May departure puts guests in Monaco for the Grand Prix trials on 22 May, and the 23 May departure puts guests in Monaco for the Grand Prix finals on 24 May.
Regatta fans are also in luck, as Royal Clipper will offer a special sailing coordinated with the Voiles de Saint-Tropez regatta as it marks its 25th anniversary. This round-trip Nice sailing departs 26 September, spending 2 October in St. Tropez for the race.
Star Clippers’ fleet of three tall ships sail year-round, with itineraries in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Central America, as well as Atlantic Ocean crossings.
