Scenic Eclipse will offer an action-packed 2022/23 Antarctica season including new discovery experiences, new Scenic Freechoice options, and a new itinerary exploring the remote Weddell Sea.

Scenic Eclipse’s submarine, Scenic Neptune, is the first submersible permitted to operate in South Georgian and Antarctica waters. Guests will be embarking on an underwater discovery like no other with a submarine capable of diving to 1,000 feet below the surface. This unique bucket list opportunity opens up the world below, where an abundance of rich marine life thrives in its own environment – all while keeping guests enclosed in high-end comfort with 270-degree views and great photo opportunities.
Make the most of your time in the deep south with Scenic’s three new eight-day land tour extensions. Glaciers & Wilderness is a new tour in Argentinean Patagonia that starts in El Calafate and ends El Chaltén, during which guests will visit the striking Perito Moreno Glacier and have exclusive use of the new Explora El Chaltén resort. This tour can be combined with the 13-day Antarctica in Depth, 20-day Antarctica, South Georgia & Falkland Islands, or 14-day Chilean Fjords & Cape Horn itineraries.
Wild Landscapes of Atacama is a new Chilean tour that starts and ends in the country’s vibrant capital, Santiago, and which ventures from the big city to the mighty Atacama, the driest non-polar place on the planet, where guests will enjoy stellar accommodations at Explora Atacama, located in the oasis of San Pedro de Atacama. This tour can be combined with the 14-day Chilean Fjords & Cape Horn, or the 11-day Latin America Delights.
Finally, the Icons of Peru itinerary is a luxury journey that explores Peru, starting and ending in Cuzco and which traces the history, unique lifestyle, culture, and majestic scenery of the heartland of the former Inca Empire. Guests will be staying at Explora Valle Sagrado and will take the amazing Belmond Hiram Bingham train to and from Machu Picchu. This tour can be added to the 11-day Latin America Delights or the 11-day Peru to Panama: Along the Andean Coast.
