Paul Gauguin Cruises has unveiled the newly renovated Le Paul Gauguin cruise ship, as well as exciting new South Pacific voyages for 2022.
Boutique South Pacific-based cruise operator Paul Gauguin Cruises has released details of the extensive renovation of its ship Le Paul Gauguin, which includes luxurious enhancements. The renovation enhances Paul Gauguin‘s elegant Polynesian signature with a chic and fresh style designed to enrich guests’ experience sailing the idyllic South Pacific seascapes of Tahiti, the Society Islands, the Tuamotus, the Marquesas, the Cook Islands, Tonga, and Fiji.
Renovations to the luxurious 332-guest Le Paul Gauguin were designed by Studio Jean-Philippe Nuel, evoking South Seas elegance reflective of the narrative of the islands and seas on which this popular ship sails. The extensive refurbishment enhances the stylish yet relaxed interior of the vessel, acknowledging the connection the ship has with the environment.
Designed specifically to sail the seas and pristine lagoons of the South Pacific, Le Paul Gauguin provides an intimate experience, offering an elegant yet casual ambiance with a range of luxurious accommodation options, exceptional service, gourmet dining, trademark Polynesian hospitality, private beach retreats, and generous all-inclusive value. The renovation has refreshed all of the ship’s staterooms and suites, as well as its Le Grand Salon, three restaurants, Piano Bar, Le Palette Lounge, the ship’s spa and salon, its pool deck, and the boutique and reception.
With the refresh, a fresh new color and texture palette incorporates lagoon shades, a wide range of green and natural tones, warm color touches, vegetal patterns, and traditional woven textiles, while exotic panoramic prints and artworks inside seamlessly complement the captivating beauty of the lagoons, mountains, turquoise waters and coral atolls outside.
To accompany Le Paul Gauguin‘s renovation, amenities were enhanced to complete the onboard experience. Guests will enjoy inclusive unlimited Wi-Fi and a tribute art gallery of over 150 paintings by artist Paul Gauguin. These new enhancements will provide guests with an even more luxurious, all-inclusive experience, which encompasses the choice of dining in all three of the ship’s restaurants and 24-hour room service; complimentary open bar including select wines, beer, and spirits; and onboard gratuities for room stewards and dining staff.
Guests will also appreciate the wide range of complimentary outdoor activities embracing the natural wonders of the South Pacific, such as snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, and scuba diving excursions (surcharge applies), as well as enjoying exclusive access to the line’s private island Motu Mahana and a private beach on Bora Bora.
The line, which is owned by Ponant, has also announced a collection of exciting itineraries for 2022. The 39 South Pacific voyages available throughout 2022, with the option of 7, 10, 11, and 14-night itineraries, include the 10-night Society Islands & Tuamotus adventure, visiting Bora Bora, Moorea, Fakarava, and Rangiroa; the 7-night Tahiti & the Society Islands journey; the 14-night Marquesas, Tuamotus & Society Islands voyages to Fatu Hiva, Hiva Oa, Tahuata, and Nuku Hiva; and an 11-night Fiji, Tonga, Cook & Society Islands voyage.
