If you’re always wanted to play Captain Nemo, the Four Seasons Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru has launched its own submarine.
The mighty Super Falcon 3S, DeepFlight’s most advanced submarine model to date, is constructed from the same carbon fibre composites as a 787, and whisks Four Seasons guests beneath some of the world’s most vibrant and beautiful waters.
The Super Falcon 3S is a pioneering submarine that takes up to two guests on a captivating aquatic adventure, in this case through the Maldives’ Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Designed with minimal electric and acoustic emissions, the submarine ‘flies’ beneath the surface, ensuring passengers stay dry with a pressurized, air-conditioned cockpit with individual viewing domes.
While you won’t be at the controls yourself – there’s a professional submarine pilot for that – you’ll be distracted by shoals of tropical reef fish, turtles, sharks, pods of dolphins, and even fevers of manta rays as you descend to a depth of 121 feet (37 meters).
The submarine now joins the resort’s extensive underwater activities and amenities, which includes a fully-certified PADI school, a Marine Discovery Centre led by marine biologists, and a fleet of water toys ranging from paddle boards to catamarans.
