Expedition specialists EYOS has partnered with Tordrillo Mountain Lodge to create the ultimate exploration of Alaska for summer 2025.
EYOS Expeditions, a leader in superyacht expeditions, has joined forces with Tordrillo Mountain Lodge, a world-class remote lodge in the stunning Alaska Tordrillo Range, to offer unique travel experiences in Alaska from May to mid-September 2025.
This exciting collaboration brings together two exceptional experiences across distinct regions, offering guests the chance to fully immerse themselves in the diverse beauty of both coastal and interior Alaska, exploring the whole spectrum of its breathtaking sights and experiences.
The expedition will begin with seven nights aboard Hanse Explorer in coastal Alaska, where glacial waters flow through old-growth forests and stunning fjords, carving an arresting gateway into America’s great, wild frontier. Guests can hike among ancient temperate rainforests; Zodiac cruise alongside Steller sea lions; observe humpback whales cooperatively feeding and kayak from a safe distance as brown bears feast on salmon at the water’s edge.
A ‘go-anywhere’ vessel with expedition bona fides, Hanse Explorer is ideally suited as a floating base camp for these waters, and exploring by private yacht allows it to venture into smaller fjords and inlets than larger vessels. This 47.7-meter superyacht accommodates just 12 guests in seven deluxe staterooms. After spending the day exploring, guests can return to the yacht for a relaxing dip in the Jacuzzi, sip cocktails in Hanse’s bright, spacious lounge, and delicious gourmet meals each evening.
The adventure will then continue at Tordrillo Mountain Lodge, a remote, multi-sport, luxury lodge in the heart of the Tordrillo Range. Only a 40-minute flight from Anchorage to Judd Lake, Tordrillo’s outdoor adventures by day give way to world-class accommodations at night.
Guests will be able to fly-fish; whitewater raft or go ‘flightseeing’ in Tordrillo’s own Turbine Otter to discover Denali National Park’s breathtaking mountains and glaciers by air. In early June through early July, guests can cast and carve through the day with corn snow heli-skiing, followed by guided fly-in fishing for the legendary Alaskan king salmon. Alternatively, arrive by helicopter and experience the first via Ferrata course in Alaska — climbers use iron rungs, 1,200 feet of cable, and suspension bridges to scale the course’s 900 vertical feet.
Tordrillo has also set the bar for luxury in the Alaskan wilderness. From the newly renovated, six-bedroom Main Lodge to spacious one-bedroom private cabins, Tordrillo Mountain Lodge guests have their choice of exclusive accommodations. Celebrate the exhilarating adventure with unforgettable seasonal gourmet cuisine and impressive wine pairings in the lakeside dining room, followed by an evening dip in the lodge’s hot tub.
